4 SET OF PEOPLE IN EVERY LEADER'S LIFE PART 3

The third category of people in every leader's life/space are COMRADES!. In your journey as a leader you can't but meet with this category of people. Your ability to be able to discern them and put them in the right place/position in your life will determine how far you'll go in your leadership journey and how well you'll end.

Many leaders have died a sudden death through the hands of their comrades simply because they took their comrades to either be their confidants or their constituents . You see...... your constituents can only drop or disappoint you but comrades can actually shoot you and wait by you to make sure that you're dead.

Who  is a comrades? 

In leadership, a comrade is simply a person that shares the same enemy with you i.e (you have common enemy). So, comrades are not their in your life because of you (not for your well being), they are simply their because they know that if they join you they'll be able to defeat their enemy in other word they are ''people who hate what you hate''. Common enemy can be a person,a system,an opposition,a competitor,ideology,government,concept,a country or a nation,even a state e.t.c  your coming together is just but for a singular purpose ......to defeat you enemy together.

For Example,In Nigeria in the just concluded Kogi gubernatorial election some politician defected from party A to party B not because they love the people in the party they defected to,share the same value with them or the party itself but because there's an enemy they want to defeat, so, because of that they join up with the other party and it has always been their custom that after they have the victory they'll face each other and start to fight each other. These exactly, is the typical example of the life of a comrade.If you pull people like that(comrade)  too close to you as a confidant is just a question of time, they'll want to take over completely from you and if you resist they'll silent you (Not necessarily to kill you) .

Unfortunately, as a leader you'll surely meet with people like this in your leadership journey,people who'll join up with you to defeat an enemy you just need to know them that they aren't doing that because they love you but simply because they also, hates what you hate. So, as a leader you ability to recognise them so that you'll be able to place them in their right place in your life is a fact that you can't joke with because if you're unable to place them in your life.....  they'll make sure that they give you the necessary  support to defeat the enemy, but, know fully well that after the enemy is defeated they're coming to shoot you so that you'll not be their competitor eventually.

I didn't put this together to scare you, neither to make you become sceptical about people around you but to inform and to enable you to place people in their right place in your life and consequently be a successful leader.

 Never mistake your comrade as your confidant or constituent.
